EMERGENCY LIFE SUPPORT
A 4-hour course covering Unconsciousness, Adult, Child & Baby, Checking the airway, Recovery Position, CPR, Choking, Shock, Bleeding and Burns.
This course is suitable for anyone with a general interest in learning first aid skills.

INFANT EMERGENCY LIFE SUPPORT
A 4-hour course covering Unconsciousness, Opening the Airway, Recovery Position, CPR, Choking, Childhood Illnesses, Infant Child Convulsions, Burns, Cuts & Bruises, Fractures & Sprains and Anaphylactic Shock.
This course is suitable for Parents, Grandparents, Baby Sitters, Classroom Assistants, or anyone with a general interest in learning first aid skills.

BASIC FIRST AID
A 6-hour course covering Unconsciousness, Adult Child & Baby, Checking and Opening the Airway, Recovery Position, CPR, Shock, Choking, Bleeding, Bandages, Burns, Fractures, Angina, Heart Attack, Asthma, Epilepsy and Anaphylactic shock.
This course is suitable for professionals e.g.: Keep Fit Instructors, Health & Beauty Care or for anyone with a general interest in learning first aid skills. 

PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID
An 12-hour course covering Planning for Emergencies, Unconsciousness, Recovery Position, CPR, Choking, Shock/Electric Shock, Anaphylactic Shock, Bleeding/Bandages, Poisoning, Foreign Bodies, Eye Injuries, Fractures, Burns, Medical Conditions, Febrile Convulsions, Contents of a First Aid Box and Recording Incidents, Questions and Answers.
This course is for people working towards an NVQ in Child Care & Education and is mandatory for Child Care workers and Nurseries. It covers the full criteria of the National Standard Guidelines for under 8s day care.

APPOINTED PERSON
An 8-hour course covering Unconsciousness, Opening the Airway, Recovery Position, CPR, Choking, Shock, Bleeding, Bandages, Burns, Fractures, Sprains and Strains, Communication and giving out responsibility in an emergency, contents of a first aid box and simple record keeping.
This course is suitable for smaller companies that have fewer than 50 employees or for the self employed e.g. Carpenters, Plumbers, Decorators, Site workers etc.

DENTAL AND DOCTOR’S SURGERIES
A 2-hour course covering unconsciousness, checking the airway, recovery position, CPR, choking and shock.
This course covers the PTA requirements of the basic life support skills.

AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATION (A.E.D.)

A 2-hour course covering how to use the A.E.D safely.
Applicants need to hold an updated CPR certificate.
